plastic models/mecha musume/girlpla

in january 2026, i bought my first model kit after seeing friends talking about the hobby online and finding out that a lot of figure designs i liked were actually model kits and that style of figure was more accessible than i thought. so far, all of the models i have built are from the 30 minutes series, which were surprisingly a lot cheaper than i expected (even if they can be a little more pricy here in the uk compared to japan and usa), and the highly customisable aspect was really appealing too. the first kit was 30mm acerby type d and while i originally built her as is, i have since started customising my kits, and she is no longer put together in her original form. oops!

after building my first kit, i got really interested in mixing different kits and parts together to make custom characters. here, i will aim to document my process when building each of my models. i am very much a beginner and i do not have the funds for more advanced supplies for customisation, so please consider that.
